EXCEPTIONAL TALK

Hi everyone! My name is Kristen and I have been working as an inclusion support worker for the past 5 years. This is my first year as Inclusion Specialist for Integration Support. I currently attend George Brown College and I will be graduating in April 2016 with an advanced diploma in behavioural science. I intend to pursue further education in the field of behvaiour analysis and autism. I am passionate about providing individuals with exceptionalities recreational opportunities and using evidence based practice to enhance their quality of life. I'm looking forward to meeting and working with you all this March break!

Welcome to the team! My name is Mackenzie and it is my first year programming after being a personal support worker for 3 years. I would like to tell you more about my self and give you my advice on how to become a great leader.  First, I would like to say congratulations on being chosen ahead of all others!  Currently, I am enrolled in school to become a police officer, but since working with the city I have changed my career path and I am now focusing more towards assisting and educating those with different exceptionalities. With regards to the qualities necessary to excel in a leadership role, great enthusaism and drive will prepare you for all activities during march break! I'm looking forward to meeting you and discussing our shared enthusiam for the program.

Hey there! I'm Sabrina and I've been studying and working in the field of intellectual disabilities for about 5 years. I have experience providing support and resources to staff and participants in a number of recreation based programs. I am also a new teacher working towards a specialist in Special Education. I am very excited to begin working with you over the next month and I'm sure that many of you will fall in love with our programs just as I did. I hope that I can be a resource to you going forward and if you have any questions or concerns my door is always open!

Smiles,

Sabrina
